Rebecca Tonietto, a third year PhD student has been awarded a Presidential Fellowship from Northwestern University's Graduate School

Rebecca Tonietto, a third year PhD student has been awarded a Presidential Fellowship from Northwestern University's Graduate School for her research on determining the effects of tall grass prairie restoration on native bee communities. Her research supervisor is Dr. Dan Larkin. The fellowships are awarded to a very limited number of graduate students each year.

Rosemary Bush (MS, 2010) was awarded an EPA STAR three year graduate fellowship

Rosemary Bush (MS, 2010) was awarded an EPA STAR three year graduate fellowship for a proposal that was based heavily on her PBS MS thesis. Ms. Bush also recently received a research grant from The Paleontological Society for her continuing research into plant n-alkanes and their relationship to a plant's environment.
