Major advisor: Jeremie Fant and Natalie Love

Research topic: Comparing genetic diversity of collections, urban trees, and native populations for plants of conservation concern

Research interests: Conservation genetics, ex-situ conservation, endangered species, urban ecology

Current research: Comparing population genetics between urban plantings and native populations for Gymnocladus dioicus as well as between collections and native populations for Magnolia stellata in order to better inform better conservation practice.

Recent awards: Morris L. Povar Prize in Zoology or Physiology
